                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.594, No.203), entitled
     2     "An act establishing certain township roads as State
     3     highways; authorizing their construction, maintenance, and
     4     improvement under certain conditions and restrictions;
     5     limiting the obligation of the Commonwealth in the
     6     construction of certain structures located on such highways;
     7     conferring certain powers upon the Department of Highways and
     8     local authorities, persons, associations and corporations for
     9     sharing the cost of the maintenance and construction of such
    10     highways; and making an appropriation to carry out the
    11     provisions of said act," deleting highways in Northampton
    12     County.

    13     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    14  hereby enacts as follows:
    15     Section 1.  Routes 48015 and 48109, act of June 22, 1931
    16  (P.L.594, No.203), entitled "An act establishing certain
    17  township roads as State highways; authorizing their
    18  construction, maintenance, and improvement under certain
    19  conditions and restrictions; limiting the obligation of the
    20  Commonwealth in the construction of certain structures located
    21  on such highways; conferring certain powers upon the Department
    22  of Highways and local authorities, persons, associations and
    23  corporations for sharing the cost of the maintenance and


     1  construction of such highways; and making an appropriation to
     2  carry out the provisions of said act," Route 48109 added May 31,
     3  1956 (P.L.1881, No.625), are deleted as follows:
     4     [Route 48015.  Beginning at a point on Route 48012 in
     5  Bethlehem Township at the village of Wagnerstown; thence in a
     6  northerly direction through Bethlehem Township to a point, where
     7  it intersects with State Highway Route 159 near the village of
     8  Farmersville, in Northampton County, a distance of about 1.45
     9  miles.
    10     Route 48109.  Beginning at a point on Legislative Route 48011
    11  about 0.1 of a mile south of its intersection with Legislative
    12  Route 159; thence in an easterly direction over Township Road
    13  443, in Bethlehem Township, to the intersection with Legislative
    14  Route 48015, in Northampton County, a distance of about 1.3 of a
    15  mile.]
    16     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
