A SUPPLEMENT 1 To the act of June 4, 1976 (No.7-A), entitled "An act to provide 2 for the expenses of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial 3 Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and for the 4 public schools for the fiscal period July 1, 1976 to June 30, 5 1977, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining 6 unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 7 1976," itemizing appropriations required from the Motor 8 License Fund for the proper operation of the several 9 departments of the Commonwealth authorized to spend Motor 10 License Fund moneys. 11 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 12 hereby enacts as follows: 13 Section 1. This supplement shall be known and may be cited 14 as the "Motor License Fund Supplement to the General 15 Appropriation Act of 1976." 16 Section 2. The following sums or as much thereof as may be 17 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the Motor 18 License Fund to the hereinafter named agencies of the 19 Commonwealth for the payment of salaries, wages and other 20 compensation and travel expenses of the duly elected or 21 appointed officers and employees of the Commonwealth, for
1 contractual services and other expenses necessary for the proper 2 conduct of the duties, functions and activities for the purposes 3 hereinafter set forth for the fiscal period beginning July 1, 4 1976 and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid 5 at the close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1976. 6 To the Department of Transportation 7 For the salaries, wages and all necessary expenses 8 for the proper administration of the Department 9 of Transportation, including the 10 Transportation Commission and Advisory 11 Committee, and the Statewide coordination of 12 municipal services................................. $ 22,888,000 <-- 13 $ 22,668,000 14 For the salaries, wages and all necessary 15 expenses for the administration and operation 16 of the maintenance program for State roads, 17 bridges, tunnels, and structures, including 18 the operation of the county maintenance district 19 facilities......................................... 354,254,000 <-- 20 355,411,000 21 For the salaries, wages and all necessary 22 expenses for the administration of the traffic 23 safety program and the administration and 24 operation of the operator and vehicle 25 registration programs.............................. 37,285,000 26 For the salaries, wages and all necessary 27 expenses for the operation of the highway and 28 safety construction programs, including planning 29 and research, design, engineering, right-of-way 30 acquisition and the operation of the engineering 19760S1417B2043 - 2 -

In addition to the amounts appropriated by this 25 act, all moneys received from the Federal Government or from any 26 other source as contributions to or payments for the programs 27 provided herein shall be paid into the Motor License Fund and 28 are hereby appropriated out of the Motor License Fund for the 29 purposes and programs intended. 30 Section 4.
