                           In the House of Representatives, May 12, 1976

     1     WHEREAS, In recent years, Pennsylvania has been subjected to
     2  several flood disasters; and
     3     WHEREAS, This has caused severe personal and economic
     4  hardships; therefore be it
     5     RESOLVED, That the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of
     6  Pennsylvania memorialize President Gerald Ford and the Congress
     7  of the United States of America to dredge the Susquehanna River
     8  in the Wyoming Valley area of Pennsylvania to help avoid future
     9  flood disasters; and be it further
    10     RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be transmitted to
    11  President Gerald Ford, to the presiding officers of each House
    12  of the Congress of the United States and to each Senator and
    13  Representative from Pennsylvania in the Congress of the United
    14  States.
