     1     RESOLVED, That the first sentence of the seventh paragraph of
     2  Rule 14 be amended to read:
     3                              Rule 14
     4                  Members' and Employees' Expenses

     6     Nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit expenditures of
     7  the Chief Clerk, the Secretary and the Minority Administrator on
     8  their own behalf, for food, lodging or travel provided such
     9  expenditures are not in excess of [five thousand] seven thousand
    10  five hundred dollars per year; and provided further, that such
    11  expenditures are in furtherance of Legislative business
    12  regardless of where, in the Commonwealth, such business is
    13  transacted.
