AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 19, 1969 (P.L.85, No.30), entitled "An
2 act authorizing cities of the first class to increase the
3 retirement allowances or pensions of its retired employes
4 after the termination of service of such employes," providing
5 for minimum pensions.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 1, act of June 19, 1969 (P.L.85, No.30),
9 entitled "An act authorizing cities of the first class to
10 increase the retirement allowances or pensions of its retired
11 employes after the termination of service of such employes," is
12 amended to read:
13 Section 1. Any city of the first class may, at any time, by
14 ordinance, increase the retirement allowances or pensions of its
15 retired employes after the termination of the services of such
16 employes. Beneficiaries under the fund shall be entitled to
17 minimum payments of $400 per month.
18 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
