AN ACT 1 Fixing annual license and other fees for activities regulated by 2 the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs in the 3 Department of State. 4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 5 hereby enacts as follows: 6 Section 1. Short Title.--This act shall be known and may be 7 cited as the "Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs 8 Fee Act." 9 Section 2. Legislative Intent, Saving from Repeal.-- 10 Notwithstanding that this act is intended as a complete 11 statement of the amounts of all fees for activities regulated by 12 the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs of the 13 Department of State, no existing fee shall be impliedly repealed 14 by reason of the sole fact that it is inadvertently completely 15 omitted from this act. 16 Section 3. Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs 17 Fees.--The annual license or other fees for activities regulated

Limited Additional Funds for Bureau Operation.-- 23 In order to improve the operations and efficiency of the Bureau 24 of Professional and Occupational Affairs, the bureau, during the 25 first year of operation under the provisions of this act only, 26 shall have the power to deduct from the license fee of each 27 individual paid under the provisions of this act, a sum of money 28 sufficient to enable the bureau to receive a total sum of 29 $350,000 which money shall be used to reorganize, modernize and 30 automate the operations of the bureau. 19760H2422B3281 - 6 -
1 Section 5. Repeals.--The following acts or parts of acts, 2 their amendments and supplements and all regulations promulgated 3 thereunder, are repealed in so far as inconsistent with the fees 4 fixed by the provisions of this act, and to such further extent, 5 if any, as specified: 6 Department of State 7 (1) Section 16, act of May 3, 1933 (P.L.242, No.86), known 8 as the "Beauty Culture Law." 9 (2) Sections 4(b) and 8, act of May 1, 1929 (P.L.1216, 10 No.427), known as the "Real Estate Brokers License Act of one 11 thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine." 12 (3) Section 4, act of May 1, 1933 (P.L.216, No.76), known as 13 "The Dental Law." 14 (4) Sections 6 and 9, act of September 9, 1965 (P.L.499, 15 No.254), known as the "Motor Vehicle Manufacturer's, Dealer's 16 and Salesmen's License Act." 17 (5) Section 5, act of January 24, 1966 (1965 P.L.1527, 18 No.535), known as the "Landscape Architects' Registration Law." 19 (6) Sections 5 and 13, act of March 2, 1956 (P.L.1211, 20 No.376), known as the "Practical Nurse Law." 21 (7) Sections 7 and 10, act of July 12, 1919 (P.L.933, 22 No.369), known as the "Architects Registration Law." 23 (8) Section 9, act of June 22, 1970 (P.L.378, No.122), known 24 as the "Nursing Home Administrators License Act." 25 (9) Sections 6 and 8.2, act of May 26, 1947 (P.L.318, 26 No.140), known as "The C.P.A.
