AN ACT
1 Providing for the use of certain fees collected by State
2 colleges and universities or State-related colleges and
3 universities.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Fees for Board.--A State college or university or
7 State-related college or university shall not use the proceeds
8 from any fees charged for board for any purpose other than to
9 provide food and food services to those persons who pay such
10 fees and shall establish a separate account for such fees and
11 keep accurate records of all receipts and disbursements.
12 Section 2. Rules and Regulations; Enforcement.--(a) The
13 State Board of Education shall have power and its duty shall be
14 to promulgate rules and regulations to carry out the purpose of
15 this act.
16 (b) The Department of Education shall have the power and its
17 duty shall be to enforce the provisions of this act and any
18 regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
1 Section 3. Effective Date.--This act shall take effect
2 immediately.
