                                     AN ACT

     1  Requiring interest to be paid on all professional sports' season
     2     ticket deposits.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Every person who pays any sum of money as a down
     6  payment or deposit to secure a season ticket for any
     7  professional sporting activity shall receive interest on said
     8  sum at the rate of 6% per annum from the date said money is paid
     9  until 60 days prior to the commencement of the regular season of
    10  the sport.
    11     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately and its
    12  provisions shall be retroactive to January 1, 1976.
