AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of the University of
2 Pennsylvania for the general maintenance and operation of the
3 university.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of eight million seven hundred fifty- <--
7 three thousand dollars ($8,753,000), EIGHT MILLION FIVE HUNDRED <--
8 NINETY-THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($8,593,000), EIGHT MILLION SEVEN
9 HUNDRED FIFTY-THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($8,753,000), or as much
10 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated
11 to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania for the fiscal
12 year July 1, 1971 to June 30, 1972, for resident education.
13 Section 2. The sum of two million five hundred eighty-three <--
14 thousand dollars ($2,583,000), or as much thereof as may be
15 necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Trustees
16 of the University of Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1,
17 1971 to June 30, 1972, for medical programs.
1 Section 3. 2. The sum of one million six hundred sixty-four <--
2 thousand dollars ($1,664,000), or as much thereof as may be
3 necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Trustees
4 of the University of Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1,
5 1971 to June 30, 1972, for the School of Veterinary Medicine.
6 Section 4. 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1971. <--
