AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of Textiles
2 and Science.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $409,000, or as much thereof as may be
6 necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the
7 Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science for its fiscal
8 period July 1, 1980 to June 30, 1981, for instruction and
9 student aid.
10 Section 2. Payments to the Philadelphia College of Textiles
11 and Science on account of the appropriation provided in section
12 1 of this act shall be made by the Secretary of Education on the
13 basis of costs during the fiscal period.
14 Section 3. The Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science
15 shall provide such information and in such form and manner as
16 the Department of Education may prescribe.
17 Section 4. The Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science
1 shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
2 financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
3 accounting principles and procedures for educational
4 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
5 Manual of 1971," without exception.
6 Section 7. This act shall take effect immediately.
7 Section 5. All sums of money paid to the Philadelphia
8 College of Textiles and Science pursuant to the appropriation of
9 the act of July 11, 1980 (No.44A) entitled, "An act making an
10 appropriation to the Philadelphia College of Textiles and
11 Science," shall be credited toward and deducted from the amount
12 appropriated in this act.
13 Section 6. The act of July 11, 1980 ((No.44A) entitled, "An
14 act making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of
15 Textiles and Science," is repealed.
16 Section 7. This act shall take effect immediately.
