AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for additional parking
3 regulations.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 3354(e.1) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 3354. Additional parking regulations.

10 (e.1) Motorcycle parking.--Notwithstanding the provisions of
11 section 6301 (relating to prosecutions under local ordinances
12 superseded by title) regarding parking violations, a local
13 ordinance may [not] prohibit [nor] and cite as a violation the
14 parallel or angle occupancy by one or more motorcycles in any
15 parking space on any highway otherwise available for parking for
16 other individual vehicles, provided that the space occupied by
17 one or more motorcycles does not exceed the space within which a
18 single vehicle must park. In the instance of a violation
1 applicable to any single vehicle, each motorcycle so parked
2 shall be individually liable for any violation as if the
3 motorcycle were the sole occupant of the parking space.
