AN ACT 1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the 2 approval of the Governor, to sell and convey to Growth 3 Horizons, Inc., certain improved land situate in the Township 4 of Bristol, Bucks County. 5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 6 hereby enacts as follows: 7 Section 1. Conveyance authorization. 8 The Department of General Services, with the approval of the 9 Governor, is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the 10 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant, sell and convey to Growth 11 Horizons, Inc., for consideration of $1, the tract of land 12 described in section 2. 13 Section 2. Property description. 14 The property to be conveyed pursuant to section 1 is the 15 following tract of land situate in the Township of Bristol, 16 Bucks County, bounded and described as follows: 17 All that certain lot or piece of ground, with the buildings 18 and improvements erected thereon, situate in the Township of
1 Bristol, County of Bucks, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and 2 being known as Block No. 5, Lot 63, on a plan of Headley Manor, 3 and being more particularly described according to a survey and 4 plan thereof made by William G. Major Associates, engineers and 5 surveyors, Bristol, Pennsylvania, dated July 26, 1967, as 6 follows to wit: 7 Beginning at a point in the center line of Hartel Street, 50 8 feet wide (formerly known as Pennsylvania Avenue), at a corner 9 of Lot Number 64, said point of beginning being at a distance of 10 731.5 feet southeast of the center line of Curtis Avenue, 50 11 feet wide (formerly known as Cedar Lane); thence extending from 12 said beginning point, along the center line of Hartel Street, 13 south 29 degrees 47 minutes east, a distance of 146.3 feet to a 14 point for a corner of Lot Number 62; thence extending along the 15 side of Lot Number 62, south 60 degrees 13 minutes west, a 16 distance of 325.46 feet to a point for a corner in line of lands 17 now or formerly of Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company; 18 thence extending along lands now or formerly of Minnesota Mining 19 and Manufacturing Company, north 29 degrees 53 minutes west, a 20 distance of 146.3 feet to a point for a corner Lot Number 64; 21 thence extending along the side of Lot Number 64, north 60 22 degrees 13 minutes east, a distance of 325.71 feet to the first 23 mentioned point and place of beginning. 24 Being known as County Tax Parcel No. 5-70-64. 25 Containing therein in area 47,650 square feet. 26 Being the same premises conveyed by John J. Camerlengo and 27 Virginia J. Camerlengo, his wife, to the General State Authority 28 by deed recorded in Bucks County Deed Book 2118, page 78. 29 Section 3. Easements, etc. 30 The conveyance shall be made under and subject to all 19950S1166B1362 - 2 -
1 easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but not 2 confined to, streets, roadways and rights of any telephone, 3 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as 4 well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies 5 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for 6 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon. 7 Section 4. Deposit of proceeds. 8 The proceeds of this sale shall be paid into the State 9 Treasury and deposited in the General Fund. 10 Section 5. Approval and execution of deed. 11 The deed of conveyance shall be approved as provided by law 12 and shall be executed by the Secretary of General Services in 13 the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 14 Section 6. Costs and fees. 15 Costs and fees incidental to the conveyance shall be borne by 16 the grantee. 17 Section 7. Effective date. 18 This act shall take effect immediately. D4L85RZ/19950S1166B1362 - 3 -
