1Amending Title 62 (Procurement) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in source selection and contract formation,
3providing for disclosure of political contributions.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Title 62 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

8§ 520.1. Disclosure of political contributions.

9(a) General rule.--A bidder or offeror of a proposal shall
10disclose, as part of its bid or offer, any political
11contribution made to the Governor, to any person who is a
12candidate for Governor or to the registered political action
13committee or registered committee of the Governor or such person
14by the bidder or offeror within one year preceding the date on
15which the bid or proposal is submitted to the purchasing agency.

16(b) Contractor.--A contract entered into by a purchasing
17agency shall contain a provision requiring the contractor to
18disclose, during the term of the contract, any political

1contribution made by the contractor to the Governor or to the
2registered political action committee or registered committee of
3the Governor.

4(c) Public access to political contributions.--The
5department shall post the information required to be disclosed
6by this section on the department's publicly accessible Internet
7website.

8Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
