AN ACT 1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the 2 approval of the Governor, to sell and convey to Brenda Rae 3 Miller and Kevin Ray Miller certain land situate in Saltlick 4 Township, Fayette County, and to sell and convey to Robert 5 Pritts, Catherine Pritts and Alverta Pritts certain land 6 situate in Saltlick Township, Fayette County. 7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 8 hereby enacts as follows: 9 Section 1. Miller conveyance. 10 (a) Authorization.--The Department of General Services, with 11 the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized and directed 12 on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant and 13 convey to Brenda Rae Miller and Kevin Ray Miller the tract of 14 land described in subsection (b), for fair consideration based 15 on a fair market value as determined by an independent 16 appraisal. 17 (b) Property description.--The property to be conveyed 18 pursuant to this section is the following tract of land situate 19 in Saltlick Township, Fayette County, bounded and described as
1 follows: 2 BEGINNING at a point in the right of way of Township Route 3 721, at the Eastern corner of land now or formerly of James C. 4 Cramer and Sarah J. Cramer, his wife; thence in, through and 5 leaving the right of way of Township Route 721, and along 6 dividing line of land now or formerly of James C. Cramer and 7 Sarah J. Cramer, his wife, and land of Kevin Ray Miller and 8 Brenda Rae Miller, his wife, South 44 degrees 30 minutes West 9 434.51 feet to a point, the true place of beginning, thence 10 continuing along land of Kevin Ray Miller and Brenda Rae Miller, 11 his wife, the following four (4) courses and distances, South 17 12 degrees 30 minutes East 133.88 feet to a point; thence South 29 13 degrees 30 minutes West 106.25 feet to a point; thence South 29 14 degrees 30 minutes West 289.75 feet to an existing stone; thence 15 South 55 degrees 00 minutes West 322.10 feet to a point; thence 16 along land now or formerly of Catherine Pritts, North 45 degrees 17 30 minutes West 162.00 feet to an iron pin; thence along line of 18 land now or formerly of James C. Cramer and Sarah J. Cramer, his 19 wife, North 44 degrees 30 minutes East 596.58 feet to an 20 existing iron pin; thence continuing along the same, North 44 21 degrees 30 minutes East 165.49 feet to a point, the place of 22 beginning. 23 HAVING erected thereon a one and one-half story frame 24 dwelling. 25 CONTAINING 2.9645 acres pursuant to a Plan of Survey for 26 Kevin R. and Brenda R. Miller, prepared by Leonard Karfelt, a 27 registered, professional land surveyor dated September of 1997. 28 (c) Conditions of conveyance.--The conveyance under this 29 section shall be made under and subject to all easements, and 30 rights of others, including, but not confined to, streets, 19980H2537B3931 - 2 -
1 roadways and rights of any telephone, telegraph, water, 2 electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as well as under and 3 subject to any interest, estates or tenancies vested in third 4 persons, whether or not appearing of record, for any portion of 5 the land or improvements erected thereon. 6 (d) Execution of deed.--The Deed of Conveyance shall be 7 approved as provided by law and shall be executed by the 8 Secretary of General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of 9 Pennsylvania. 10 (e) Costs and fees.--Costs and fees incidental to the 11 conveyance under this section shall be borne by Brenda Rae 12 Miller and Kevin Ray Miller. 13 Section 2. Pritts conveyance. 14 (a) Authorization.--The Department of General Services, with 15 the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized and directed 16 on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant and 17 convey TO ROBERT PRITTS, CATHERINE PRITTS AND ALVERTA PRITTS the <-- 18 tract of land described in subsection (b), for fair 19 consideration based on a fair market value as determined by an 20 independent appraisal. 21 (b) Property description.--The property to be conveyed 22 pursuant to this section is the following tract of land situate 23 in Saltlick Township, Fayette County, bounded and described as 24 follows: 25 BEGINNING at a point in the right of way of Township Route 26 721, at the Eastern corner of land now or formerly of James C. 27 Cramer and Sarah J. 1 Brenda Rae Miller, his wife, South 44 degrees 30 minutes West 2 1196.58 feet to an iron pin, the true place of beginning, thence 3 South 45 degrees 30 minutes East 162.00 feet to a point; thence 4 along land now or formerly of Catherine Pritts, one of the 5 Grantees herein, South 55 degrees 00 minutes West 205.90 feet to 6 a point; thence continuing along the same, South 77 degrees 00 7 minutes West 231.68 feet to a point; thence along line of land 8 now or formerly of James C. Cramer and Sarah J. Cramer, his 9 wife, North 44 degrees 30 minutes East 397.85 feet to an iron 10 pin, the place of beginning. 11 CONTAINING 0.9449 acres pursuant to a Plan of Survey for 12 Kevin R. and Brenda R.
