AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 30, 1975 (No.8-A), entitled "An act to
2 provide for the expenses of the Executive, Legislative and
3 Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and
4 for the public schools for the fiscal period July 1, 1975 to
5 June 30, 1976, and for the payment of bills incurred and
6 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending
7 June 30, 1975," reinstating and continuing the appropriation
8 to the Department of Community Affairs for housing and
9 redevelopment assistance.
10 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11 hereby enacts as follows:
12 Section 1. So much of section 2, act of June 30, 1975 (No.8-
13 A), known as the "General Appropriation Act of 1975," as applies
14 to the appropriation to the Department of Community Affairs for
15 housing and redevelopment assistance, amended February 2, 1976
16 (No.2-A), is amended to read:
17 Section 2. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
18 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the General
19 Fund to the several hereinafter named agencies of the Executive,
20 Legislative and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth for the
21 payment of the salaries, wages, or other compensation and travel
22 expense of the duly elected or appointed officers and employees
1 of the Commonwealth, for payment of fees of contractual services
2 rendered, for the purchase or rental of goods, services,
3 printing, equipment, land and buildings and for payment of any
4 other expenses, as provided by law or by this act, necessary for
5 the proper conduct of the duties, functions and activities and
6 for the purposes hereinafter set forth for the fiscal period
7 beginning July 1, 1975 and for the payment of bills incurred and
8 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending June
9 30, 1975.

15 Assistance as authorized by the act of May 20, 1949
16 (P.L.1633, No.493), known as the "Housing and
17 Redevelopment Assistance Law," and by payment of
18 the costs of administering such act up to but
19 not exceeding an amount equalling 2% of this
20 appropriation.................................... [2,850,000]

23 priated shall be allocated or granted to any one
24 political subdivision.

26 Section 2. Subsection (b) of section 9 of the act, amended
27 December 16, 1975 (No.50-A), is reenacted to read:

29 (b) The appropriation to the Department of Commerce for
30 reimbursement to municipalities for Bicentennial related

1 municipal overburden, the appropriation to the Department of
2 Community Affairs for housing and redevelopment assistance and
3 the appropriations to the Legislative Department shall be
4 continuing appropriations.
5 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
