                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 24 (Education) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for retirement definitions.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The definition of "superannuation or normal
     6  retirement age" in section 8102 of Title 24 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 8102.  Definitions.
     9     The following words and phrases when used in this part shall
    10  have, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the
    11  meanings given to them in this section:
    12     * * *
    13     "Superannuation or normal retirement age."
    14             Class of service            Age
    15                 T-A             [62] 60 or any age upon accrual


     1                                    of 35 eligibility points
     2                 T-B             [62] 60
     3                 T-C and T-D     [62 or age] 60 [provided the
     4                                    member has at least 30
     5                                    eligibility points] or
     6                                    any age upon accrual of
     7                                    35 eligibility points
     8     * * *
     9     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
