AN ACT 1 Amending the act of July 4, 1979 (No.9A), entitled "An act to 2 provide for the expenses of the Executive, Legislative and 3 Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and 4 for the public schools for the fiscal period July 1, 1979 to 5 June 30, 1980, and for the payment of bills incurred and 6 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending 7 June 30, 1979," further providing for certain payments on 8 account of exceptional children. 9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 10 hereby enacts as follows: 11 Section 1. As much of section 2 as relates to the 12 appropriation to the Department of Education for certain 13 payments on account of exceptional children, act of July 4, 1979 14 (No.9A), known as the "General Appropriation Act of 1979," is 15 amended to read: 16 Section 2. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be 17 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the General 18 Fund to the several hereinafter named agencies of the Executive, 19 Legislative and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth for the 20 payment of salaries, wages or other compensation and travel
1 expense of the duly elected or appointed officers and employees
2 of the Commonwealth, for payment of fees of contractual services
3 rendered, for the purchase or rental of goods, services,
4 printing, equipment, land and buildings and for payment of any
5 other expenses, as provided by law or by this act, necessary for
6 the proper conduct of the duties, functions and activities and
7 for the purposes hereinafter set forth for the fiscal period
8 beginning July 1, 1979 and for the payment of bills incurred and
9 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending June
10 30, 1979.
