AN ACT
1 Amending the act of August 22, 1961 (P.L.1043, No.475),
2 entitled, as amended, "An act to ascertain and appoint the
3 fees to be received by the prothonotary of the court of
4 common pleas of the Commonwealth in counties of the third,
5 fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth class; to provide
6 the time of paying the same; and to repeal certain acts,"
7 extending provisions to include counties of the second class
8 A, and further providing for fees.
9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 hereby enacts as follows:
11 Section 1. The title, and as much of section 1 as relates to
12 executions, act of August 22, 1961 (P.L.1043, No.475), entitled,
13 as amended, "An act to ascertain and appoint the fees to be
14 received by the prothonotary of the court of common pleas of the
15 Commonwealth in counties of the third, fourth, fifth, sixth,
16 seventh and eighth class; to provide the time of paying the
17 same; and to repeal certain acts," amended October 11, 1967
18 (P.L.437, No.200), are amended and the section is amended by
19 adding a paragraph to read:
20 AN ACT
21 To ascertain and appoint the fees to be received by the
1 prothonotary of the court of common pleas of the Commonwealth
2 in counties of the second class A, third, fourth, fifth,
3 sixth, seventh and eighth class; to provide the time of
4 paying the same; and to repeal certain acts.
5 Section 1. Fees.--The fees to be received by the
6 prothonotary of the court of common pleas of this Commonwealth
7 in counties of the second class A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth,
8 seventh and eighth class shall be as follows:

10 DOCUMENTS FILED AFTER COMMENCEMENT
11 In addition to the provisions for other fees, the
12 prothonotary of the court of common pleas of this Commonwealth
13 in counties of the second class A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth,
14 seventh and eighth class shall receive the following fees:
15 Reinstatement of complaints ........................ $ 5.00
16 Reissuance of writs ................................ $ 5.00
17 Joinder of additional defendant .................... $ 5.00
18 EXECUTIONS
19 Filing of any praecipe for a writ of execution, including
20 attachment, possession or any other writ of execution not herein
21 specifically provided for, and all services incident
22 thereto................................. [$10.00] $15.00

24 Section 2. Section 8, act of October 20, 1967 (P.L.472,
25 No.224), entitled, "An act amending the act of July 28, 1953
26 (P.L.723), entitled 'An act relating to counties of the second
27 class; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the laws
28 relating thereto,' extending the provisions of the act with
29 certain exceptions to a new class of counties herein created,"
30 is repealed.
