AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for the protection of the elkherd range.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
7 § 2168. Elkherd protection.
8 The commission shall, by January 1, 1995, determine the range
9 of the elk within this Commonwealth and shall promulgate
10 regulations prohibiting the deposit of residual, hazardous,
11 nuclear or any other type of waste within this range area.
12 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
