                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of October 6, 1998 (P.L.705, No.92), entitled,
     2     as amended, "An act providing for the creation of keystone
     3     opportunity zones and keystone opportunity expansion zones to
     4     foster economic opportunities in this Commonwealth, to
     5     facilitate economic development, stimulate industrial,
     6     commercial and residential improvements and prevent physical
     7     and infrastructure deterioration of geographic areas within
     8     this Commonwealth; authorizing expenditures; providing tax
     9     exemptions, tax deductions, tax abatements and tax credits;
    10     creating additional obligations of the Commonwealth and local
    11     governmental units; and prescribing powers and duties of
    12     certain State and local departments, agencies and officials,"
    13     providing for licensed facilities and licensed gaming
    14     entities eligibility; and making a related repeal.

    15     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    16  hereby enacts as follows:


     1     Section 1.  The act of October 6, 1998 (P.L.705, No.92),
     2  known as the Keystone Opportunity Zone, Keystone Opportunity
     3  Expansion Zone and Keystone Opportunity Improvement Zone Act, is
     4  amended by adding a section to read:
     5  Section 1301.1.  Licensed facilities and licensed gaming
     6                     entities eligibility.
     7     A licensed facility or a licensed gaming entity, as defined
     8  in 4 Pa.C.S. § 1103 (relating to definitions), shall not be
     9  eligible for any of the exemptions, deductions, abatements and
    10  credits or any other benefits that are created under this act.
    11     Section 2.  Repeals are as follows:
    12         (1)  The General Assembly declares that the repeal under
    13     paragraph (2) is necessary to effectuate the addition of
    14     section 1301.1 of the act.
    15         (2)  The provisions of 4 Pa.C.S. § 1507 (relating to
    16     inapplicability of Keystone Opportunity Zone, Keystone
    17     Opportunity Expansion Zone and Keystone Opportunity
    18     Improvement Zone Act) are repealed.
    19     Section 3.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
