4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 2531(c) of Title 23 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 2531. Report of intention to adopt.

9* * *

10(c) When report not required.--No report shall be required
11when the child is the child, grandchild, stepchild, brother or
12sister [of the whole or half blood], or niece or nephew by
13blood, marriage or adoption of the person receiving or retaining
14custody or physical care.

15Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
