AN ACT
1 Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, permitting certain military personnel to fish
3 without a license.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2709 of Title 30 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 2709. Exemptions from license requirements.

10 (e) Military personnel.--The provisions of this chapter do
11 not apply to residents of Pennsylvania on full-time, active duty
12 in the military service of the United States, assigned to a
13 facility outside Pennsylvania and on temporary leave in
14 Pennsylvania. Every person who uses this exemption shall have in
15 his possession, while fishing, evidence of residency in
16 Pennsylvania and a copy of the orders assigning such person to
17 temporary leave. This subsection shall not be construed to
1 permit any person to fish for or take any fish at any time or in
2 any manner, number or species other than as prescribed by
3 regulations of the commission.
4 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
