                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of July 2, 1984 (P.L.553, No.110), entitled, as
     2     reenacted, "An act establishing a program within the
     3     Department of Commerce to provide grants to engineering
     4     degree-granting schools to assist in the acquisition of new
     5     engineering equipment or the upgrading of existing
     6     engineering equipment that is necessary to provide students
     7     with the courses required to obtain a degree in engineering,"
     8     further providing for reallocation of unused funds and for
     9     the expiration of the act.

    10     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    11  hereby enacts as follows:
    12     Section 1.  Sections 3(d) and 6 of the act of July 2, 1984
    13  (P.L.553, No.110), known as the Engineering School Equipment
    14  Act, reenacted and amended December 17, 1990 (P.L.712, No.177)
    15  are amended to read:
    16  Section 3.  Engineering equipment acquisition and upgrade.

    18     (d)  Distribution of unused funds.--Any allocated funds which
    19  have not been expended consistent with subsection (c) by June
    20  30, [1992] 1995, shall be available for reallocation by the
    21  board.

     1  Section 6.  Expiration.
     2     This act shall expire June 30, [1993] 1996.
     3     Section 2.  This act shall be retroactive to June 30, 1993,
     4  if enacted after June 30, 1993.
     5     Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
