AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 23, 1931 (P.L.932, No.317), entitled
2 "An act relating to cities of the third class; and amending,
3 revising, and consolidating the law relating thereto,"
4 authorizing tax sales on any day during the year.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 2542 of the act of June 23, 1931
8 (P.L.932, No.317), known as The Third Class City Code, reenacted
9 and amended June 28, 1951 (P.L.662, No.164), is amended to read:
10 Section 2542. Time of Holding Sales.--Such sales shall be
11 made on [the first Monday in June,] any day in the year
12 succeeding the year in which the respective taxes are assessed
13 and levied, or on any day to which such sale may be adjourned[,
14 or on any first Monday of June in any succeeding year].
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
