AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for purchase,
3 consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt
4 or brewed beverages.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 6308 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
8 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
9 § 6308. Purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of
10 liquor or malt or brewed beverages.

12 (b.1) Additional penalties.--In addition to the penalties
13 imposed pursuant to subsection (b), a student enrolled in an
14 institution of higher education convicted of a second offense
15 under subsection (a) shall be deemed ineligible for future
16 State-funded financial grants or scholarships. As used in this
17 subsection, the term "institution of higher education" shall
18 mean any of the following:
1 (1) A State-related university.
2 (2) A university in the State System of Higher
3 Education.
4 (3) A community college.
5 (4) A private university or college in this
6 Commonwealth.
