                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of December 15, 1959 (P.L.1779, No.673),
     2     entitled, as amended, "An act relating to fish, frogs,
     3     tadpoles and turtles; and amending, revising, consolidating
     4     and changing the law relating to fish in the inland waters
     5     and the boundary lakes and boundary rivers of the
     6     Commonwealth," authorizing owners of farms to fish in ponds
     7     at the farm without a license.

     8     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     9  hereby enacts as follows:
    10     Section 1.  Section 56, act of December 15, 1959 (P.L.1779,
    11  No.673), known as "The Fish Law of 1959," is amended to read:
    12     Section 56.  Fishing Authorized without License.--The
    13  Pennsylvania [resident] owner or lessee of a farm, his family
    14  and persons residing or regularly employed upon the farm, on
    15  which is constructed an artificial pond holding water the source
    16  of which is wholly within the limits of such farm or from waters
    17  in which there are no game fish, may, without license at any
    18  time, fish in such pond and take therefrom fish of any kind and
    19  size and in any number without regard to closed seasons or creel
    20  limits or other restrictions or limitations.
    21     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
