                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, providing for reinspection of a vehicle without
     3     additional fees or charges.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 4727 of Title 75, act of November 25,
     7  1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes, is amended by adding a subsection to read:
     9  § 4727.  Issuance of certificate of inspection.

    11     (c)  Reinspection.--When a vehicle has been inspected and
    12  rejected, only one inspection fee or charge shall be made if the
    13  vehicle is thereafter satisfactorily repaired and returned to
    14  the same official inspection station within 72 hours after the
    15  original inspection.
    16     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
