AN ACT

Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, in miscellaneous provisions, further

providing for duties concerning disaster prevention.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 7701 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

§ 7701.  Duties concerning disaster prevention.

(h)  Flood maps.--The agency shall review and update State,

county and local flood maps at least every ten years.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
