A JOINT RESOLUTION 1 Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the Commonwealth 2 of Pennsylvania, authorizing the General Assembly to provide 3 for a jury of six in any civil case. 4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 5 hereby resolves as follows: 6 Section 1. The following amendment to the Constitution of 7 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is proposed in accordance with 8 the provisions of the eleventh article thereof: 9 That section six, article one of the Constitution of the 10 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania be amended to read: 11 Section 6. Trial by Jury.--Trial by jury shall be as 12 heretofore, and the right thereof remain inviolate.
