                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Directing the Game and Fisheries Committee of the House of
     2     Representatives to conduct an investigation into the training
     3     of and the operational procedures used in the field by Game
     4     Commission law enforcement personnel.

     5     WHEREAS, There has been an increased level in the number of
     6  citizen complaints and concerns regarding the comportment and
     7  performance of Game Commission law enforcement personnel in the
     8  performance of their official duties; and
     9     WHEREAS, It is highly desirable that such law enforcement
    10  personnel conduct themselves in a thoroughly professional and
    11  positive manner in dealing with the public while performing
    12  their official duties; therefore be it
    13     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives direct the Game
    14  and Fisheries Committee to conduct an investigation into the
    15  training of and the operational procedures utilized in the field
    16  by Game Commission law enforcement personnel to determine
    17  whether such complaints and concerns are well-founded; and be it
    18  further


     1     RESOLVED, That the committee report its findings and
     2  recommendations to the House of Representatives as soon as
     3  possible.
