4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1.  Section 1103(g) of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 1103.  Restricted activities.

9* * *

10(g)  Former official or employee.--No former public official
11or public employee shall represent a person, with promised or
12actual compensation, on any matter before the governmental body
13with which he has been associated for [one year] two years after
14he leaves that body.

16Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
