                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, providing a penalty for discrimination
     3     on account of the use of support dogs by handicapped persons.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 7325 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 7325.  Discrimination on account of guide dog.
     9     A person is guilty of a summary offense if he, being the
    10  proprietor, manager or employee of a theatre, hotel, restaurant
    11  or other place of public entertainment or amusement, refuses,
    12  withholds or denies any person, who is using a guide dog,
    13  because of the blindness or deafness of the user, or who is
    14  using a support dog, because of a physical handicap of the user,
    15  the use of or access to any accommodation, advantage, facility
    16  or privilege of such theatre, hotel, restaurant or other place


     1  of public entertainment or amusement.
     2     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
