                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Relating to the appointment of a Select Committee on Rules
     2     Review to study the Rules of the House of Representatives and
     3     to make a study.

     4     RESOLVED, That the Speaker of the House of Representatives
     5  appoint a Select Committee on Rules Review, consisting of ten
     6  members, six from the majority party and four from the minority
     7  party, to study the Rules of the House and submit to the House
     8  of Representatives on or before June 30, 1999, a report of the
     9  study; and be it further
    10     RESOLVED, That the Speaker of the House of Representatives
    11  appoint the Chairman of the Select Committee on Rules Review and
    12  that the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives appoint
    13  the Minority Chairman of the Select Committee on Rules Review.
