A RESOLUTION 1 Proclaiming the week of January 19 through 24, 2003, as 2 "Recreation Professionals Week" in Pennsylvania. 3 WHEREAS, Many recreation professionals enrich the lives of 4 thousands of citizens in this Commonwealth; and 5 WHEREAS, Recreation professionals work in public, private, 6 commercial and not-for-profit recreation agencies and in 7 residential care facilities, theme parks, youth agencies, 8 hospitals, children's homes and various other places in this 9 Commonwealth; and 10 WHEREAS, Recreation professionals provide a fun and 11 supportive atmosphere where people can play, exercise and 12 develop their personal skills and interests; and 13 WHEREAS, These activities add fulfillment to the lives of 14 those who participate in them; therefore be it
1 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives commend 2 recreational professionals on their service to Pennsylvania 3 residents; and be it further 4 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize their 5 contributions and proclaim the week of January 19 through 24, 6 2003, as "Recreation Professionals Week" in Pennsylvania.
