Subject: Reimbursement prohibited for school construction or rehabilitation which fails to include school security
 
In the near future, I plan on introducing legislation that will exclude state reimbursement for school building construction or rehabilitation projects through the state’s PlanCon process if the scope of the work does not include baseline school safety features.

The baseline safety features for Pennsylvania’s school buildings will be recommended by the Statewide School Safety Commission.

This commission is part of the legislation package that I am introducing to protect our students while they are attending school.
