Subject:	Resolution honoring the life of the late Reverend Billy Graham

In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution honoring the life of the late Reverend Billy Graham. William Franklin Graham, Jr., may have been the closest that this country has ever come to having a national pastor. He provided prayer and spiritual counsel to more than a dozen United States Presidents, as well as guided our nation through many key moments in its history. His innovative method of combining passionate evangelism with modern technology enabled him to impact the lives of millions of people both domestically and abroad. Rev. Graham’s prolific success in unifying people from all nations and of all creeds through the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes him one of the most influential leaders of our time. Billy Graham leaves behind an inspiring legacy of hope and love through his ministry, and as such, I hope that you will join me in co-sponsoring this resolution to recognize the life of a truly remarkable man.
