| Subject: | Honoring the Small Businesses of the State and the National Federation of Independent Business on its 75th Anniversary |
| In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the 75th anniversary of the National Federation of Independent Business. On May 20, 1943, the National Federation of Small Business was founded which would go on to become the National Federation of Independent Business. Since then, NFIB has grown to represent hundreds of thousands of small and independent business across our nation, many of which are found in this Commonwealth. The encouragement of small and independent business being vital to a free market, and the backbone of our economy, it essential that these businesses have a voice. NFIB works tirelessly as that voice, both on the state and federal level, to ensure that they are heard when policy is being considered. I ask that you join me in honoring the 75th anniversary of, the National Federation of Independent Business and the exceptional work they have done.
