Subject: Resolution - National Police Week and Police Officers Memorial Day in PA
 
In the near future, Senator Costa and I will be introducing a resolution recognizing "National Police Week" and "Police Officers Memorial Day" in Pennsylvania.

National Police Week will begin this year on Sunday May 13th and ends Saturday May 19th.

Additionally, on May 7th of this year, the Fraternal Order of Police, Pennsylvania State Lodge, will be conducting its annual Police Memorial Ceremony at the Forum Building to honor the brave law enforcement officers who died in the line-of-duty in 2017. We will be presenting the Senate Resolution honoring the officers who sacrificed their lives while in the line-of-duty.

Please join us in honoring these brave individuals by co-sponsoring this resolution.
