Subject: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Week 2017
 
During the January 3, 2017 session, I plan on introducing a resolution designating the week of January 16 through 22, 2017 as "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Week" in Pennsylvania. During this week, we are all encouraged to take time to remember the legacy of Dr. King and his commitment to equality for all by participating in acts of service within the community. I encourage members to join me in co-sponsoring the resolution.
