Subject: | Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission 150th Anniversary Resolution |
In the future, we intend to introduce a resolution in honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. On March 30, 2016, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will proudly celebrate the 150th anniversary of its founding in 1866. With more than 86,000 miles of streams and nearly 4,000 lakes, ponds, and reservoirs in the state, the Commonwealth’s aquatic resources are extensive, rich, and diverse. For the last 150 years, the Commission has been responsible for managing and safeguarding both aquatic habitat and species resources, as well as to protect and showcase our rich recreational fishing and boating heritage. Please join us in recognition of the many accomplishments and contributions of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission the last 150 years and in honoring the rich heritage that includes boating, fishing, and all outdoor recreational activities on our waterways across the Commonwealth. If you have any questions regarding this resolution, please contact Christine Zubeck at 717-787-6123 or czubeck@pasen.gov. Thank you for your consideration. |
