| Subject: | Motorsports Appreciation Week in Pennsylvania |
| In the future, I intend to introduce a resolution recognizing the week of June 1, 2015 as Motorsports Appreciation Week in Pennsylvania. As you know, Pennsylvania has a very extensive history of motorsports of all types. The Commonwealth has benefited economically, and continues to benefit from the longtime investments in corporations that include the production, engineering and sponsorships of motorsports vehicles. In addition, Long Pond, Pennsylvania, is home to Pocono Raceway the host of two NASCAR Sprint Cup series events annually. We are happy to recognize Pocono Raceway in its many contributions to motorsports and the Commonwealth, and in sponsoring the 2nd Annual NASCAR Hauler Parade here at the Capitol June 4, 2015. Please join me in recognition of Motorsports Appreciation Week June 1, 2015 and in honoring the rich heritage that includes the many contributions of Pocono Raceway, NASCAR Fans, and all stakeholders of motorsports in the Commonwealth.
