Subject:	Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans

I will be re-introducing legislation, SB 566, proposing an amendment to the PA Constitution which would exempt any blind, paraplegic, or otherwise 100% permanently disabled veteran from the payment of real property taxes in Pennsylvania. The exemption would apply to Pennsylvania residents who were honorably discharged from the military and whose injury was a result of their military service.
