Subject:	Pro Bono Week Resolution

I plan to introduce a resolution to designate the week of October 20, 2013 through October 26, 2013 as “Pennsylvania Pro Bono Week” in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Bar Association is joining with the American Bar Association to sponsor this October’s annual National Pro Bono Week celebration. This is an opportunity for all of us to recognize the difference that lawyers make in their communities in recruiting and training more pro bono volunteers; and the good work they do for our Commonwealth’s neediest citizens.
