Subject: Protection of Race Horse Development Fund
 
In the very near future, we will be introducing legislation which will amend Title 4 to protect revenue which is dedicated to the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development Fund.

It is our intent to preserve the revenues within this fund by removing the current language which transfers a percentage of the weekly revenue to the General Fund and also adding a subsection that prohibits future modification of the formula for the next 8 years. These changes will maintain the original intent of the law with respect to the dedication of revenue to the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development Fund.
