Subject: LEGISLATION – MEMORIAL BRIDGE DEDICATION FOR U.S. ARMY SARGENT SCOTT O. HENRY
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation designating the bridge on Peg Run Road ~ PA Route 240, over the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, Susquehanna Township, Cambria County, as the United States Army Sergeant Scott O. Henry Memorial Bridge.

Scott Henry served in both the U.S. Marine Corps and in the U.S. Army. He was killed in action in Vietnam, at the Battle of La Drang while rescuing an injured soldier from the field of battle.

Conveying his name to this bridge would be a fitting memorial to his memory and sacrifice.

Introduced as HB2596
