Subject: Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD)
 
I am introducing legislation to allow the PA Game Commission to work with
the Department of Agriculture in response to combating the spread of Chronic Wasting
Disease. CWD has been found in increasing numbers in wild deer and deer farm populations.
Greater coordination between the Department of Agriculture and the Game Commission will
provide for a more effective response to the disease.
