Subject: Commemorating “The Urban League of Philadelphia on its 100th Anniversary
 
Tomorrow, we will be introducing a resolution to commemorate “The Urban League of Philadelphia on its 100th Year Anniversary.

Since 1917, The Urban League of Philadelphia has been empowering the urban community. The Urban League of Philadelphia is an affiliation of the National Urban League the nation’s oldest and largest community-based movement devoted to empowering African Americans to enter the economic and social mainstream.

Our resolution will acknowledge the celebration of the organizations 100 years of service and their several initiatives and programs to mark this milestone.

Please join us as a co-sponsor of this legislative proposal.
