Subject: Co-sponsorship: Prohibiting Authorities From Offering Bonuses to Municipal Employees
 
Recently it was brought to my attention that a municipal authority in my district was using funds collected from rate payers to provide bonuses to non-authority employees throughout the municipality. I feel that this is a misuse of rate payers’ funds.

Therefore, I will be introducing legislation to clarify provisions of the Municipal Authorities Act to make it expressly forbidden to make these kind of payments to non-authority employees.
