Subject: Reverse Mortgage Font Size
 

In the near future I will be introducing legislation to require writers of reverse mortgages to keep the font size of their contracts and disclosures no smaller than 24 size font.

The vast majority of individuals who opt for reverse mortgages are member to a demographic which may have trouble seeing small print. Too often, the details of these contracts may contain a font size that is hard to read. My legislation helps to remedy this by imposing minimum font size requirements.
