Subject:	Unannounced Inspections of Childcare Facilities (Former HB 46)

In the near future I plan to reintroduce legislation (Former House Bill 46) which provides for unannounced inspections of children’s daycare facilities. This bill is about protecting the safety and welfare of our most vulnerable citizens, our children. This bill has passed the House unanimously in previous sessions and has been agreed upon by several stakeholders and by the Department of Human Services.
